To work with Median

• Select the Choose Effect tab from the Menu Bar and then choose Noise. After that click Median.

This filter removes small, random areas of noise where the noise is distinctly different from the surrounding area. This feature adjusts the intensity of each pixel in the image to the median intensity of its surrounding pixels.
